Alicante Airport (ALC)
Travel and Ground Transport
(Alicante, Spain)
Buses, courtesy coaches and taxis are the main transport option for getting to and from Alicante and Alicante Airport.
Public buses run to Alicante, Benidorm and Murcia throughout the day, while many package holiday tourists will usually get their hotel transfer included with the holiday deal.
Buses
Scheduled buses leave Alicante Airport for Alicante central bus station every hour from 07:30 to 22:30, while other services run regularly to Benidorm and Murcia; buses depart from opposite the Arrivals Hall. The main bus routes are the: Alicante-Airport Line (C6), Benidorm-Airport Line and the Murcia-Airport Line.
Hotel Shuttle Buses
As with most other big coastal resort destinations in Spain, most tourists are booked on package holidays, where flights, hotel and airport transfers are all part of the deal, meaning that coach transfers are free. In addition, many of Alicante's established hotels offer free airport shuttles for their guests. You should enquire with your hotel or travel agent about these services upon booking.
Taxi Cabs
The taxi rank at Alicante Airport is situated just outside the terminal building near Arrivals. Official taxis are white and a queue system is in operation. Fares to Alicante are reasonable and services also run to: Altea, Benidorm, Calpe, Denia, Santa Pola and Torrevieja.
