Alicante Airport (ALC) is a popular airport to fly into for those visiting the Costa Blanca, Alicante, Murcia and Benidorm. The airport serves close to ten million yearly passengers, who arrive or depart on flights operated by many different popular airlines. It is a modern facility with commendable passenger services and facilities.

Currency exchange booths and cash machines are located throughout the terminal and there is also a lost property service, post office and first-aid office. Several cafés and restaurants provide sustenance, while duty-free shops offer many tax-free goods.

There are two Aena information desks in the terminal, with the main one situated in the Check-in area and the other in Departures. Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets

Alicante Airport comes with a surprising amount of shops, with a wide range of products available. There are newsagents and tobacconists as well as gift, jewellery, sports, music and duty-free shops.

Bars, Cafés and Restaurants

Alicante Airport offers an exciting range of eateries, with eight cafés and four restaurants, as well as a fast-food outlet and an ice cream parlour. Most of the eateries are part of the Costa Blanca Plaza, where you will also find many bars.

Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities

Alicante Airport has all the money facilities passengers require, with bureaux de change booths and cash machines. There is also a post office onsite and public pay phones are located throughout the airport terminal on both floors.

Business and Conference Facilities

There are basic business facilities at the airport and the VIP Lounge located in Departures on the upper floor is available to business-class passengers; Internet access and telephone, fax and photocopying facilities can be found here. However, for full conference and business services, the nearest venue is the Holiday Inn Alicante-Playa de San Juan.

Disabled Facilities

There are good facilities at Alicante Airport for disabled travellers and the mobility impaired such as lifts and ramps, wheelchair-friendly toilets and telephones, and wheelchairs available on request. Disabled persons' parking is also available in the car park located opposite the terminal entrance and help is available to those who call their airlines ahead of time.
